The Endurance ECLIPSE™ effectively outperforms heavy-gauge vinyl profiles, is less expensive, and it drives better. ECLIPSE is available in dark, earth tone colors that compliment the environment.

The Unique Tri-Web™ design and 24" width minimizes driving episodes. The rigid frame, which include patented convex corners, maximize stiffness for driving. ECLIPSE can be vibrated using a vibratory hammer or driven with an impact hammer.

A Cost Effective Composite that Eclipses the Performance of Heavy Gauge Vinyl.

Just as composites have replaced steel and aluminum in applications ranging from aircraft airframes to bridges, composites are replacing PVC in industrial sheet pile applications.

A quick structural analysis of heavy gauge PVC sheet pile will reveal several concerns:

• An obvious misapplication of material? The amount of PVC required to meet the manufacturer’s load-bearing specification is excessive.
• Why PVC?  PVC is flexible and that makes long, heavy sheets hard to install. (This composite is a fraction of the weight, but over nine times stiffer than PVC.)
• Is it price competitive? PVC is bought and sold by the pound. Because of the excessive weight, it can’t possibly be the best overall value.
• Is it the best decision? Many times, designers still use wooden wales and round wood piles in their design. A composite seawall can be built with fewer structural components and can even be built of 100% synthetic materials if required.

At Northstar, we’re a proud leader and innovator of the PVC (vinyl) sheet piling industry.  But as a steward of the industry, we understand when the limit of PVC has been reached. From that knowledgepoint we developed materials to reach beyond the capabilities of PVC.

The material used to manufacture the 24” Eclipse composite sheet piling is over nine times stiffer than PVC! This stiff composite material called Endurance, allows design engineers to replace expensive, inefficient PVC designs with an efficient, cost effective design.  Eclipse is stronger and less expensive than heavy gauge vinyl sheet piling.

Are you building or designing a wall in excess of 7’ of exposure? Compared to heavy gauge vinyl, you WILL save money and have a better structure if you choose to use Eclipse.
